stuff stuff

I should really convince some friends to join this site so I have a few followers.

Anyway!! My latest good stuff.

Good things that have happened lately/things I like

1, The warm and fuzzy feeling you get from a person that means a little more than normal.

2, Raphiel (my cat) recovered from her cold. Nothing more distressing than an ill kitten.

3, The fascination I have watching Lewco learn to talk! Its incredible.

4, The comforting feeling of stretching your toes in a warm bath. I highly recommend it! Sounds silly I know but its just so comforting.

5, When you discover you dont quite have enough cheese left for cheese on toast, making a pasta sauce etc so you have an excuse to cut it into slightly thinner bits and just dip it in strawberry jam. Cheese and strawberry jam is the only thing that rivals cheese eaten at the same time as a green apple.

6, Tonight me and Carolyn (mother) talked about subjects i never thought I'd feel comfortable discussing.

7, Possibly my most exciting news! I've been given permission to use the family caravan when the need of a get-away takes me. I've already promised Teri a night there with me and I'm pretty sure who I may shuffle up to blushing and subtly hint a trip to it with me to. I'm really not sure that sentence made sense...

8, Lack of a book caused me to open Twilight for the first time since Christmas where Carolyn gave me the first three and I have to admit. I love them. I couldn't believe it. Can't wait to buy the fourth.

9, A new funeral directing company has started in Glenrothes! A new company to annoy for a job to bring me closer to my dream job!

10, I got handed over to the doctor I'm normally scared of today. And I realised he's actually very nice! Still not my favourite though.

I've got this routine every morning and night in my house.
Every night I close all the windows (or if it's hot I put them on 'draft'), close the curtains, Turn the jasmine hoop in the kitchen around (so that the other side gets the sun the next day) and possibly water it if it needs it and I close the doors to every room as I go.
want to know why?
I like the act of opening the door to every room in the morning.
Pulling open all the curtains one by one and letting the sunlight filter through.
Closing or opening the windows further depending on the weather. (I automaticly wake up at approx 6.40am - 7.30am so its normally not that bright or warm anyway)
I always make sure the last room I get to is the kitchen.
Then I put the kettle on, while it's boiling I feed Raphiel, and I pull myself up onto the bunker and watch the world slowly wake up with have the first cigarette of the day. I tried to quit but whenever I try something dramatic happens and the urge is harder to resist.
By the time I'm finished the kettle should be boiled and Raphiel should be lying across my lap with a very full stomach purring away. So I lift her off make coffee and dive upstairs again to lye across my bed re-reading the pages I forgot and possibly writing more in my journal that I forgot to previously.

Bet your disappointed after thinking I was always heavy metal and absinthe.
Especially finding out I have a jasmine hoop in my kitchen.
